With WordCamp Slovenia 2026 approaching, we’re excited to announce that volunteer applications are now open.

What Does It Mean to Volunteer?
Volunteering at WordCamp Slovenia is about supporting the event while still being able to enjoy it. Volunteers help in many different ways throughout the day, from assisting attendees and speakers to helping with logistics and community spaces.
The conference takes place over one full day, and volunteer shifts are planned so you’ll still have time to attend sessions, meet people, and join the social activities in the evening.
You don’t need previous experience. Whether this is your first WordCamp or you’ve attended many before, you’ll be supported and guided along the way.
Why Get Involved?
Volunteering is one of the best ways to experience a WordCamp from the inside. It’s a chance to:
- meet people from the local and international WordPress community,
- learn how a community-led event is organised,
- connect with speakers, organisers, and attendees,

Where Can You Help?
There are many different ways to contribute, and roles will be matched based on interests and needs closer to the event. Volunteers may help with:

- sharing moments from the event on social media,
- or providing general on-site support to keep everything running smoothly.
