We welcome tech-related media platforms worldwide, including websites, blogs, magazines, podcasts, social influencers, TV, and radio outlets. Becoming a Media Partner for WCSLO 2026 provides an exceptional opportunity for your platform to:

Being selected as a Media Partner means that you will receive:

  • Up to two (2) free media passes 
  • A private Media Area for working and conducting live interviews in the event venue during the whole conference 
  • A member of the PR team will be assigned to help you get the information you need to create PR content before, during, and after the event
  • Personalised support from the PR team to help you achieve your objectives during the event, including scheduling and facilitating interviews with speakers, sponsors, and members of the organising team
  • Your logo with a link to your media website will be featured on the Media Partners page of the WCSLO website
  • Recognition as a Media Partner across all of our channels

As a WCSLO 2026 Media Partner, you commit to:

  • Sharing with us your plan for how you will cover WordCamp Slovenia (before, during, and after) – what types of items you will publish (articles, social media posts, podcasts, etc.), how many of each you expect to publish, interviews you expect to conduct, and any other activities.  
  • Publishing at least one article (or podcast) about WordCamp Slovenia before and after the event takes place.
  • Posting one or more follow-up articles (or podcasts) after the event. These can be reviews, recaps, statements, or opinion articles describing your experience and journey at WordCamp Slovenia 2026, or interviews with Speakers, Organisers, Sponsors, or Volunteers.
  • Including the #WCSLO and #WCSLO2026 hashtags in all your publications.

Additional guidelines for Media Partners:

  • We encourage a varied approach to content, such as interviews in video or podcast formats, transcribed Q&As, or interactive infographics.
  • Social media posts may feature quotes from key figures like Speakers, Sponsors, Volunteers, or Organisers.
  • Reach your audience through dedicated emails, and consider adding a WCSLO banner or logo to your website or newsletters for additional exposure.
  • January 14 – Call for Media Partners opens
  • April 1- Call for Media Partners closes
  • Early March – Media Partners selection
  • Late March – Applicants will receive a response to their applications
  • March and April – Media Partners announced
