WordCamp Slovenia 2026 brings together the Slovenian WordPress community for one full day of learning, inspiration, and connection. It’s a place where ideas are shared openly, experiences are exchanged, and the local community connects with the wider WordPress ecosystem.
This event is community-run and proudly inclusive. We welcome speakers of all backgrounds, roles, and experience levels: developers, designers, content creators, marketers, entrepreneurs, educators, contributors, and anyone working with or around WordPress.

Event format and sessions
WordCamp Slovenia 2026 will feature one day of talks and workshops. Here’s how you can get involved:
- Long talk:
This is the classic WordCamp format, giving you plenty of time to dive deep into any topic you’re passionate about. You can use the whole time or leave room for questions. - Workshops:
Want to get hands-on? Lead a classroom-style session where attendees can roll up their sleeves and engage in a hands-on, practical learning experience. - Lightning talk:
Got a quick idea, tip, or story to share? Lightning talks are short, high-energy sessions perfect for one clear takeaway, a practical tip, or a “here’s what I learned” moment.
We particularly encourage women to apply. Whether you work as a developer, in a technical role, or specialise in other areas related to the WordPress ecosystem, you’re most welcome to apply!!
Do I need to be an experienced speaker?
We welcome speakers of all experience levels. Whether you’ve presented before or it’s your first time, we’d love to hear from you. If you feel ready and excited, go for it!
