WordCamps are built by passionate, friendly, and dedicated volunteers 💚
Every year, people from local WordPress communities come together to help organise inspiring conferences around the world, and in 16th of May 2026, Slovenia will be no exception.

WordCamp Slovenia 2026 is looking for an amazing group of volunteers to help us create a welcoming, smooth, and unforgettable event for everyone involved.

Volunteers are the heart of WordCamp. They are the first friendly faces attendees meet, the helping hands behind the scenes, and the people who make sure everything runs seamlessly from start to finish.

By volunteering, you:

  • actively contribute to the WordPress community,
  • meet new people from Slovenia and beyond,
  • gain behind-the-scenes experience in event organisation,
  • and still get plenty of time to enjoy the conference as an attendee.

Organising a WordCamp involves many different tasks. Volunteer roles may evolve as the event approaches, so let us know your best skills and/or your preferred role when you apply.

How much time does volunteering take?

  • Up to one full day (and night – we have a party) during the conference
  • Plenty of free time to attend talks, workshops, and social events publish it on our official website

We welcome volunteers who:

  • are part of, or interested in joining, the WordPress community,
  • are kind, respectful, and enjoy helping others,
  • work well in a team,
  • maintain a positive attitude and follow the Code of Conduct,
  • wear their volunteer t-shirt during their assigned shift.

No prior volunteer experience is required. Whether this is your first WordCamp or you’re a returning volunteer, you’ll be supported every step of the way.
